Terms of Service
1. About these terms
Eventeru is operated by Almirall Events S.L., a company established in Spain, with registered address Carrer de Comte de Montornes 4, Pta 17, 46003 Valencia, Valencia, Spain, tax identification number B13729157, registered at Registro Mercantil de Valencia, Tomo 11368, Libro 8646, Folio 80, Sección 8ª, Hoja V-210816, Inscripción 1ª. In these documents “we”, “us” and “Eventeru” mean that company.
These terms govern your use of https://eventeru.com, the Eventeru applications and the Eventeru API. By creating an account, buying a ticket, or otherwise using the service, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” then means that organisation.
These terms and the Refund and cancellation policy form the platform agreement. The Privacy Policy explains processing; reading it is not consent to optional tracking or marketing. Event-specific organiser terms are additional and do not replace your platform agreement or mandatory consumer rights.
An authorised team creator or event creator may accept these terms on behalf of the owning organiser account. We record the contracting account separately from the person acting for it, with the accepted version and document copy. Delegation does not require the primary owner to repeat the same action. The organiser is responsible for granting and withdrawing its representatives' authority. A data processing agreement, where required, must be adopted separately; an unpublished draft is not incorporated by this clause.
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including Spanish consumer legislation and the law of your own country of residence in the EU or EEA.

| Product | Anything an organiser sells or issues through the platform for an event, including tickets, add-ons and access passes. |
| Online product | A product whose entitlements are delivered online, for example a livestream pass or on-demand access. Tax on these is calculated and owed by us. |
| In-person product | A product delivered at a physical event, for example a venue ticket. Tax on these is the organiser’s responsibility. |
| Your content | Anything you upload, publish or send through the platform, including event pages, images, session material, messages and contact data. |

3. What Eventeru is, and what it is not
Eventeru is software that organisers use to publish events, sell tickets, communicate with attendees and run their events. We provide the platform. Except where section 7 says otherwise, we do not run the events listed on it.
The organiser decides what the event is, where and when it takes place, what is included, who may attend, and what their refund and transfer policy is. The organiser is responsible for delivering the event they advertised, for holding any licence or permit the event needs, and for complying with the law where it takes place.
We do not verify organisers’ claims about their events, and listing an event is not an endorsement of it. If an event is cancelled, moved, or is not what was described, your claim in the first instance is against the organiser. Section 7 sets out the cases in which we are the seller and your claim is against us.
4. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the service where the law of your country allows a person of your age to enter into this agreement, or where a parent or guardian has agreed to it on your behalf.
Keep your account details accurate, and keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, other than use we could reasonably have prevented once you told us about it. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication or a passkey; both are available in your security settings.
Some actions are protected by an additional security challenge, and some are refused outright while your account is in a restricted state, for example after an account recovery. This is deliberate, and it is there to protect payment destinations and credentials from someone who has taken over an account.
Our support and administration staff can, in limited and audited circumstances, access an account to investigate a problem or a report of abuse. Those sessions are recorded, and the most sensitive actions are blocked during them. The Privacy Policy explains what is logged.
5. If you organise events
When you publish an event, you agree that:
- the event description, dates, location, prices and inclusions are accurate, and you will update them promptly if they change;
- you have the right to run the event and to use everything you publish for it, including images, logos, speaker material and trademarks;
- you will honour the terms you publish, including your refund window and your ticket transfer window, which the platform enforces exactly as you configured them;
- you will comply with consumer, tax, accessibility, health and safety, licensing and data protection law wherever the event takes place and wherever your attendees are;
- you are the data controller for the personal data of the people who attend your events, and you will handle it lawfully, as set out in the Privacy Policy;
- you will respond to attendee questions, refund requests and complaints within a reasonable time.
If you sell paid products, you must connect a Stripe account and complete Stripe’s verification before money can settle. You contract with Stripe directly for that account, and Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement applies between you and Stripe alongside these terms. We can suspend selling on your event if that Stripe account becomes restricted or disabled.
An event uses one Stripe connection. Refunds, disputes and tax reporting all have to come from the account that took the payment, so once an event has taken money, changing its payment destination requires our approval and is subject to a security hold before it takes effect.
6. If you attend events
Registering does not reserve a place until your order completes, and a ticket type can sell out while an order is in progress. Some events require approval, or an invitation, before you can register at all.
Your ticket admits the named attendee. Its QR code is what admits you, so treat it like cash: anyone holding it can be checked in with it, and it can only be used once. Reselling a ticket above face value, or outside a channel the organiser has authorised, may void it.
Each event publishes the terms it actually runs on, generated from the settings the platform enforces, including its refund deadline and whether tickets can be transferred. Read them before you buy: they are linked from checkout and from the event page.
7. Who sells you the ticket
This is the most important commercial point in these terms, because it decides who owes you the ticket, who owes the tax, and who issues a refund. It is not a choice either party makes at checkout: it follows from what the product delivers.
| Product type | Seller of record | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Online products (livestream passes, on-demand access, other online entitlements) | Almirall Events S.L. | We are the seller and the merchant of record. We calculate and owe the tax on the sale, using Stripe Tax and the buyer’s location. We take the payment, and the organiser receives the proceeds less our fee. |
| In-person products (venue tickets and anything delivered at a physical event) | The organiser | The organiser is the seller and the merchant of record. They are responsible for the tax and set any tax rates that apply. The payment is taken directly on the organiser’s Stripe account, and we collect our fee from it. |
A single order is always one type or the other. The platform will not let an order mix online and in-person products, because the two cannot be taxed or refunded on the same footing. If you want both, you place two orders.
Payment by invoice on net terms is only available on in-person orders, where the organiser is the seller. We do not extend credit on an organiser’s behalf.
In every case, and whoever the seller is, the organiser remains responsible for actually delivering the event.
8. Fees and taxes
Our fee rates depend on the plan the organiser’s account is on. The current schedule is published at /pricing and forms part of these terms. We may change it on 30 days’ notice; a change never applies to orders already placed.
What the platform fee is charged on
The platform fee is calculated on the subtotal after any discount and before tax. We never take a percentage of tax, on any payment route. Payment processing fees are charged separately by Stripe and are not ours.
Tax
- On online products we are the seller: tax is calculated automatically from the buyer’s location and the product’s tax code, and we account for it to the authorities.
- On in-person products the organiser is the seller: the organiser decides what tax applies, adds the rates, and accounts for it. We do not calculate it and do not owe it.
- A price is either tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive, decided per product and applied consistently to the order and any invoice, so tax is never charged twice on the same amount.
Prices you see
Prices are shown in the event’s currency. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion and fees, which are between you and them.
9. Payouts to organisers
Organisers are paid through Stripe, into the bank account attached to their connected Stripe account. Funds reach an organiser only after their Stripe account is verified and able to receive payouts.
Money from a sale is held for a period before it becomes eligible for payout. That hold exists so refunds and chargebacks can settle before money leaves the platform, and it depends on the organiser’s record. New organisers are paid after their event ends. Once an account has built a record of events run without disputes, or has been verified, its sales become eligible a set time after the buyer pays, whether or not the event has happened yet, and that time shortens as the record grows. The payout cadence an organiser chooses in their settings controls how often eligible funds are sent; it does not shorten the hold. Accounts with a high refund rate or open disputes may be held longer.
We do not publish the exact criteria that move an account onto a faster hold, because they are part of our fraud controls and would be gameable if we did. Nothing in this section is a discretion we exercise account by account for commercial reasons.
A payout only sends once the available balance reaches the published minimum. Smaller balances roll into the next payout. Where an organiser’s balance is negative, for example after refunds on funds already paid out, we may recover the difference from later sales or invoice it.
We may withhold or delay a payout where we reasonably suspect fraud, where an event appears not to have taken place, where a legal or regulatory obligation requires it, or where an account is under investigation. We will tell the organiser why, unless the law prevents us.
10. Refunds, cancellations and disputes
The full rules are in the Refund and cancellation policy, which is part of this agreement. In summary:
- the organiser sets the refund policy for their event, and the platform enforces it as configured;
- tax is refunded in proportion to the amount refunded;
- our platform fee is not returned on an individual refund, and is returned when a whole event is cancelled;
- a refund is a financial act only: it does not by itself cancel a registration or free the seat;
- Stripe’s processing fee is not recoverable on any refund.
If you raise a chargeback with your card issuer rather than asking for a refund, the organiser bears the disputed amount and Stripe’s dispute fee, and we retain our fee. Please ask for a refund first: it is faster, and a dispute takes months.
11. Plans, metered usage and overage caps
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe, on the plan and cycle you choose. They renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep the plan’s features until then. We do not refund part-used subscription periods except where mandatory law requires it.
Some usage is metered rather than included: private streaming minutes, recording storage, marketing email beyond your plan’s allowance, and API or webhook volume beyond it. Usage above the allowance is billed as an overage on your next invoice at the rates published at /pricing.
Every plan carries a default monthly overage cap. The cap works in both directions: it is a live brake, so metered usage is blocked once you reach it, and it is applied to the invoice, so you are never billed more overage than the cap. You can set your own cap higher or lower at any time in billing settings. Leaving the field blank restores your plan’s default cap; it does not mean “no limit”. Setting it to zero means no overage at all, and usage simply stops at your included allowance.
If a plan payment fails, we may downgrade the account to the free plan after notifying you. Features above the free plan’s allowances stop working at that point, and content that exceeds them may become unavailable until you are back within them.
We may change plan pricing or what a plan includes on 30 days’ notice. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
12. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to:
- break the law, or promote or facilitate breaking it;
- list an event you do not intend to run, or take money for one you cannot deliver;
- sell counterfeit, stolen or misdescribed goods, or anything you are not licensed to sell;
- publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that incites violence against a person or group;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or contractual rights;
- send unsolicited commercial email, upload contacts you have no lawful basis to hold, or ignore an unsubscribe;
- launder money, evade sanctions, or process payments for a business other than the one you told us about;
- probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service, circumvent rate limits or access controls, or attempt to reach data that is not yours;
- upload malware, or content designed to break a viewer’s device or browser;
- resell or white-label the platform to third parties except under a written agreement with us.
Reports of abuse can be sent to the contact address in section 22. We review them and act proportionately, which may include removing content, closing an event to new registrations, suspending selling, or suspending the account.
Messages you send through the platform are also governed by our Acceptable Use and Anti-Spam Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Email, notifications and marketing
The platform sends transactional messages that are part of the service: order confirmations, tickets, security alerts, event updates and administrative notices. These are not marketing and cannot be switched off while your account or your ticket is live.
Marketing messages an organiser sends through the platform, such as newsletters and announcements to a subscriber list, are the organiser’s messages. The organiser is the sender and is responsible for having a lawful basis to send them, for honouring unsubscribes, and for complying with the ePrivacy rules and anti-spam law that apply to their recipients. We keep a record of the consent behind each subscriber and enforce unsubscribes across the platform.
An organiser may connect their own sending domain. Doing so does not transfer responsibility for the platform’s deliverability to us, and we may throttle or stop sending from an account whose complaint or bounce rate puts other users’ mail at risk.
14. Your content, and our platform
Your content stays yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and transmit it, strictly for the purpose of operating and providing the service to you and to the people you publish it to. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups for the period described in the Privacy Policy, and for records we must keep by law.
Where you publish an event page publicly, you also allow us to display it, and reasonable extracts and images from it, in search results, listings and previews on the platform.
The platform itself, including its software, design, trademarks and documentation, is ours or our licensors’. Nothing here transfers it to you. You get a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms, and nothing more.
If you tell us how the product could be better, we may act on it without owing you anything for it.
If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, write to connect@eventeru.com identifying the content, the right you hold and the basis of the claim. We remove content that is clearly infringing and may suspend accounts that infringe repeatedly.
15. Third-party services
The service depends on providers we contract with, including Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for storage, video and network protection, and Amazon Web Services for email. The Privacy Policy lists them and what each one handles.
Where you connect your own third-party account, such as a Stripe account, a sending domain or an analytics pixel, your agreement with that provider governs your relationship with them. We are not responsible for their service, and enabling a connection does not make us a party to it.
16. API, webhooks and integrations
API access is available under these terms and the plan allowances published at /pricing. API keys carry scopes; keep them secret, use the narrowest scope that works, and rotate a key you think may have leaked. You are responsible for everything done with your keys.
Rate limits apply and we may enforce them by throttling or refusing requests. Do not use the API to build a copy of the platform, to bulk-extract data about people who are not yours, or to circumvent a limit or permission that exists in the product.
We version the public API and will give reasonable notice before a breaking change to a stable version. Endpoints marked internal, beta or undocumented can change without notice; if you build on them, that is at your risk.
17. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available and to warn you before planned maintenance, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free unless we have signed a separate service level agreement with you.
We develop the product continuously and may add, change or remove features. Where a change materially reduces a feature you rely on, we will give reasonable notice. Features labelled beta or preview may change or be withdrawn at any time and are provided as they are.
18. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service at any time and can request deletion from Account settings, then Delete Account. Accounts that own a team or an organisation must transfer or close it first, so that other people’s events are not orphaned.
We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, where you materially breach these terms, where we are required to by law, where an account is being used fraudulently, or where continuing would expose us, our providers or other users to serious risk. Except where the breach is serious or urgent, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
If an organiser account is closed while it has sold tickets to an event that has not happened, we may hold funds and, where the event will not be delivered, return them to buyers.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive it, including fees already owed, content licences needed for records, liability, and governing law.
19. Warranties
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, and we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
This exclusion does not apply to consumers. If you are a consumer, you keep the statutory guarantees and conformity rights the law gives you, and nothing in these terms limits them.
20. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, and where you are using the service in the course of a business: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data; and our total liability for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in fees during that period, or one hundred euros.
We are not liable for an organiser’s failure to deliver an event, or for an attendee’s conduct at one, except where we were the seller of the product under section 7 and the failure is ours.
If you are a consumer, this section applies only to the extent the law allows, and we remain liable for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable skill and care.
If you use the service as a business, you will indemnify us against claims brought by third parties, including your attendees and the authorities, that arise from your events, your content, or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to consumers.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the product before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version. If you do not, you may close your account before it takes effect.
The version in force when you placed an order is the version that governs that order.
22. Governing law, disputes and contact
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the law of Spain. The courts of Spain have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
Please contact us if you have a complaint. Where an alternative dispute resolution procedure is available for your complaint, you may seek assistance from the relevant consumer dispute resolution body. The European Commission publishes a directory of these bodies. This does not limit your right to bring court proceedings.
These terms are available in Spanish and English. Neither version limits your mandatory consumer rights. Contact us at connect@eventeru.com, or by post at Almirall Events S.L., Carrer de Comte de Montornes 4, Pta 17, 46003 Valencia, Valencia, Spain.
